UNIMED is amongst the first Tunisian pharmaceutical laboratories. It was set up by its ,
chairman and managing director Ridha Charfeddine in 1989.
Relying on its human potential and expertise which constitute its growth pillars, UNIMED has successfully helped in the development of the Tunisian pharmaceutical industry that it attracts various foreground pharmaceutical groups as well in partnership at the level of Galen’s development as in subcontracting and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Thus, we are faithful to our long-term strategy! Being devoted to its strategy along the time, UNIMED has extended its product range containing from now on ophta-ORL solutions, liquids for injection, penicillin powders as well as cephalosporins for injection. We are committed to our convictions and we will always listen to our partners and customers while remaining open to all technological and scientific innovations.

UNIMED has succeeded in reaching the most demanding international quality standards. It has been ISO 9001 certified since 1999, EuGMP since 2006 and ISO 13485 since 2008.
UNIMED has a regulatory and normative watch department, a very active R&D department and highly qualified staff, allowing it to constantly meet the requirements of a constantly evolving world and more and more customers.

The UNIMED Laboratories develop an activity of production of drugs for human use according to two main axes, namely generic drugs, developed under the own brand of UNIMED and shaped drugs which are manufactured on behalf of third party laboratories, principals. This last activity indicates the confidence placed in our know-how and our expertise.
UNIMED continues to expand its range which now includes Ophthalmic, ENT and Inhalation solutions, infusion solutions, injectable fluids and injectable penicillin and cephalosporin powders.

The African markets are of great interest to us. However, our cooperation strategy is based on a lasting partnership that is equitably beneficial to both partners. We adapt to the needs of our partner within the limits of our fields of expertise. We offer a wide variety of services:
· Technology transfer: we have more than 200 AMM files in CTD format developed by Unimed. We have the skills and resources to develop drugs, manufacture pilot batches, carry out stability studies in accordance with international requirements and ensure the transfer and validation of industrial batches.
· Create in partnership, other pharmaceutical industry projects in African countries.
· Subcontracting and sale of drugs.
